You will need to evaluate if you are going to keep one single SKU, or manage this requirement with separate SKUs. The fact that you have a pull strategy makes me think that you should keep a single SKU.. this way you can share the safety stock, increasing the service level minimizing the inevntory level at the same time..
Now, if you have a single SKU, you will have a negative impact in the distribution process and you will need to add a repalletization task, which is a non productive activity...
So in my perspective, you will need to evaluate what is more convinient, considering safety stock levels, variances in your demand, the possibility or not of doing a repalletization.
