Relational vs. OLAP paradigm is not specific to SAP / Business Objects, those terms would be best looked up externally on the wider web.
relational is understood as being RDBMS, normalised table structures, typically transactional data.
OLAP is typically the 'star schema', in a time-dependent archive repository of historical actuals.
